Notes

1. These notes do not include the treatment every statue gets of removing any “inscriptions” (usually bogus) from the base, and gluing the base to a ceramic tile (wider than the built-in base) for increased stability. Additionally, in some cases a statue had a w3s scepter with no fork at the bottom, or a papyrus scepter with a fork at the bottom, and I fixed those.

2. The Khnum statue is sold as “Khnum”. But it’s holding a feathery object which might be a weird plant branch or a giant plume, and a knife. This means that although the manufacturer intended it to be Khnum, it’s really one of the ram-headed doorkeepers of the underworld, like the well-known depiction from tomb QV66 (Nefertari’s tomb) shown below. However, the head is the same in form as Khnum’s and the figure is the right size, so, I bought it and will replace the frond and knive with a w3s and ankh, respectively.
